Louis Wittmer - Instructor

Louis Wittmer currently works as a Detective with the Des Plaines Police Department. Louis is certified by the State of Illinois Training and Standards board to teach hand to hand combat skills and has assisted Danny with numerous law enforcement training seminars throughout the State of Illinois. Louis has also instructed hand to hand combat skills for the Des Plaines Police Department. In Louis’ previous assignments as a Patrol Officer, Gang Enforcement Officer, and Narcotics Investigator, he has first-handedly seen the need for police officers to have advanced hand to hand combat skills.

Louis was a member of the Des Plaines Police Tactical Response Team (SWAT) when he was introduced to Danny.  After participating in the training that Danny provided to the team, Louis was invited to take part in traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu. Louis has been able to take the valuable skills that he has learned from Danny and apply them to his daily work and personal life.

Louis has been practicing traditional Wing Chun kung fu with Danny since 1999.
