Halligan's Combat Training Systems fills in for a last minute session at ILEETA International Training Conference and Expo in Chicago

On March 23, 2005 Halligan's Combat Training Systems held a training session for the ILEETA International Training Conference and Expo in Chicago. We filled in for a trainer that had pulled out at the last minute. With the short notice, we did not make it into the program that was handed out to the attendees. Due to this, the turnout for our session was pretty light, with only six officers attending. The officers that were there were very receptive and the training went very well.

Comments from participants

This was a great hands on course. It gave me a chance to re-evaluate how our officers should stand when interviewing or confronting an offender. It also gave a new and better way for our officers to defend against that one percent of people who would disarm and kill an officer.
This was a great class. It helps reinforce to think and act offensively instead of defensively. I will also be able to apply some things I learned to defensive tactics techniques I teach to make thoses skills better. I enjoyed it a lot.
I was very impressed by your flexbility and candor in instructing this course. Your principles are solid and make it easy for the lay-person to understand and apply. As you know, most officers are not very good "movers and shakers", but they will be able to grasp this course, retain the knowledge and apply it to real world situations. Your assistant instructors were awesome!
