Danny Halligan conducts a seminar in Chicago for the Illinois Tactical Officers AssociationDanny Halligan and a few selected students from Illinois and Iowa conducted a seminar for law enforcement officers in Chicago on May 10, 2002. There were 26 officers from 15 different Illinois law enforcement agencies involved. Seminar PhotosComments from seminar participants:Best time I’ve spent for my own well being. Very well done, the hands on is the best instruction. Excellent seminar - Provides “more tools for the box”. For many officers, striking as opposed to grappling is a new concept. Excellent, all training should be at this level of “hands on”, with this high student to instructor ratio. Very good seminar. Taught life saving techniques that were either new or refresher. Practice time that was much needed. The class was very well taught. Excellent class. It gave us good information to bring back - especially gun retention and wrist locks. Excellent! Simple, practical and effective. Good hands on, excellent student to instructor ratio. Very useful for patrol officers. The instructors were very knowledgeable. This course should be incorporated in the basic academy class. I enjoyed the class and think that what we learned today can be used. The instruction was excellent - hands on, very useful, thorough. Great class, I learned a lot of little things that make a big difference. Thanks for making the trip to teach us. Very friendly and informal attitude makes it easy to learn. Introduced me to many new concepts of handling encounters with subjects on the street. Very practical. Instruction was excellent. Very hands on, made learning easy. Instructor to student ratio was great! |
